At LG, we strive to make Life Good for Everyone. Manufacturing Technician Mid Shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm This position starts at $19.00/hour and may increase based on experience. Responsibilities:​ Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and report to leadership Start up machinery & shut down machinery Mechanical experience troubleshooting various issues Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Assemble, install, repair wiring, or electrical components that may have basic malfunctions Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery Clean and lubricate machinery Maintain good condition of machinery and operating of machinery Measurement & Quality Control: skill in using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished products and track data Qualifications: High School Diploma Over 2 years of experience preferred Basic mathematics skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may be the root cause of production delays or machine errors. Safety and Regulatory knowledge: understanding of plant safety rules, Lean manufacturing concepts and Good Manufacturing Practices or ISO standards.
