Marketing Intern – Social Media Video Editor (Part Time)

About The Role Tevora is seeking a Marketing Intern – Video Editor (Part Time) to support the Marketing team in creating engaging video content for our digital and social media channels. In this internship-level role, you will gain hands-on experience editing, optimizing, and preparing short-form and long-form video content while learning how social media channels and visual storytelling supports a complex B2B cybersecurity and compliance business. You will work closely with marketers across multiple disciplines, contributing to projects such as interviews, event recaps, informational videos, and social-first content. This is a great opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented student or early-career professional to strengthen their video editing skills, build a portfolio of real-world marketing work, and help shape the look and feel of the Tevora brand. This position is part of a 10-week internship program and will require up to 20 hours/week of work. Schedule is flexible, but in-office attendance in the Irvine, CA office is required. \n Essential Functions: Learn the Tevora visual brand Work closely with the marketing team to create interesting and compelling short-form videos for LinkedIn, our website, and other relevant digital platforms. Transform interviews, webinars, and event footage into social-friendly content. Incorporate B-roll, stock footage, branded graphics, lower thirds, captions, transitions, and other supporting visual elements to strengthen storytelling. Develop engaging video edits with strong pacing, hooks, and visual variety while learning how to effectively capture the attention of B2B and technical audiences. Perform basic audio cleanup, color correction, footage stabilization, and other post-production adjustments as needed. Create and adapt video content across multiple aspect ratios and formats, including 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, and 9:16. Organize and maintain video project files, raw footage, graphics, audio assets, and final exports using established naming and version-control conventions. Incorporate creative feedback and revisions while maintaining brand consistency, technical accuracy, and project deadlines. Complete in a timely fashion assigned tasks relating to the creation of various short-form videos as requested Keep an eye on social media trends and new editing styles for relevant, creative ideas that would translate to a B2B technical audience Some light copywriting, including editing of video captions Support for still-image social media graphics using software such as Canva Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks Communicate effectively with internal teams Additional duties as assigned Necessary Skills or Qualifications: Experience creating content for social media platforms Bachelor’s degree or completed coursework in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent professional experience. 1–3 years of professional experience in digital content creation, video editing, social media, or related field. Basic understanding of video production, editing techniques, and digital storytelling. A strong interest in marketing and social media Ability to communicate effectively with peers and clients through written and spoken mediums Familiarity with basic video editing software including Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable professional video editing software, and/or others Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and basic motion graphics is strongly preferred Comfort working with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to develop expertise in new technologies quickly Basic motion graphics and animation experience is a plus. Portfolio required showcasing video editing and social media storytelling skills. Can be in any industry.
