What you'll do

The material handler is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of cabinet pieces within the cartoning department.
This role requires following established production standards, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and capable of performing repetitive tasks involving heavy lifting and standing.

Description Canyon Creek is Currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team! Canyon Creek has been a leading West Coast semi-custom cabinet manufacturer in the PNW for nearly 50 years! Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hours/week plus 8-10 hours of overtime per week during our peak season (occasional Saturday shifts). Requirements Essential Function: Our Material Handlers must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal and follow the instructions. All work must be completed with accuracy and efficiency. This position is responsible for a portion of the operations process for all cabinet pieces within the department. This position must follow established production standards, safety guidelines, procedures, and rules. The nature of material handler positions is repetitive motion and heavy lifting for extended periods of time and standing. Required Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical manuals Ability to read and interpret production work – order tags High attention to detail to meet specifications and to work safely Successfully work in a team environment Salary: The compensation for this position is $19.80 - $23.96 hourly.
