Measure Technician (Windows, Stucco, Roofing)
EPEX Home Performance / SolarWorks Energy, Albuquerque, NM
$22 to $27 an hour, full-time, depending on experience
The role
You are the person who walks the house before we sell or install. Accurate measures, clear photos, and clean notes, so sales and crews never guess. Windows is the core of the job. You will also measure and assess stucco and roofs. Between measures you run company errands and handle small repair callouts when something needs a quick fix.
What you will do
Measure windows and doors for quote and order: openings, frames, grids, glass, hardware, clearances
Site-survey roofs and stucco: condition, square footage and elevations, access, install constraints
Take organized photos and notes that a sales rep or project manager can use without calling you back
Spot problems early (out-of-square openings, soft roof deck, failed stucco, access issues) and flag them
Work with sales, project managers, and install crews so what we bid matches what we can build
Run errands as needed: parts pickup, material drops, dealer and warehouse runs, document or sample delivery
Handle minor repairs and punch-list items in the field (caulk, trim, small fixes, warranty touch-ups) when they are within your skill set
Cross-train across trades. We need someone who can carry more than one skill set
What we are looking for
Experience in at least one of: window install or measure, stucco, or roofing (field or survey)
Comfortable on ladders and roofs and in occupied homes; clean and respectful with homeowners
Handy with basic hand and power tools for small repairs, not just measuring
Sharp with a tape, a phone camera, and simple digital forms. Detail matters more than speed
Self-directed: you leave a job with everything we need, not half of it
Reliable truck and a valid driver's license; local Albuquerque metro travel for errands and job sites
Bonus: Anlin or other window-dealer measure experience, Spanish, or a multi-trade background
Pay and setup
$22 to $27 an hour depending on experience. Tools and measure-process training provided. We expect you to learn windows deep and stay useful on stucco, roof surveys, errands, and light repair work.
