Description NOW HIRING! We are seeking one full-time, permanent Mechanical Assembler I to assemble aerospace and defense components. We may also hire one additional temporary Mechanical Assembler to support production needs for a limited duration. This is an entry-level position with training and guidance provided. Responsibilities include installing hardware, squeezing rivets, and following blueprints and work instructions. Duties/Responsibilities Read and follow blueprints, travelers, and work instructions. Assemble parts and install hardware. Use hand tools, machines, and measuring tools after training. Check your work and report quality concerns. Complete production records accurately. Follow all safety, quality, security, PPE, and ITAR requirements. Keep your work area clean and organized. Requirements Skills/Abilities Previous manufacturing, assembly, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience is helpful but not required. Basic shop math and computer skills. Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English to safely perform job duties and complete required training. Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between small parts and hardware variations. Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards. Ability to work safely with tools, chemicals, adhesives, primers, and sealants. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Physical Demands Job duties are performed in an open warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals. Sit for long periods. Perform repetitive hand and finger movements. Use fine motor skills to work with small parts. Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, turn, and squat. Work Schedule Permanent full-time position Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM An additional temporary position may also be filled to support increased workload Pay Range $20.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits available for full-time, permanent employees.
