Description

We are seeking a mechanical engineer student with a 6 months+ of internships/work experience in a role relevant to mechanical engineering. Out of our Los Angeles headquarters, you will design, prototype, analyze, test, and develop hardware to support our defense-focused missile launch systems. A successful candidate will receive mentorship from experienced engineers and leaders in the aerospace and defense industry. You will be part of a fast-paced startup culture where innovation, teamwork, and rapid development are at the forefront. Basic Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (Undergraduate student or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program) Pursuing Mechanical, Aerospace, Thermal Fluids, Structural or similar Engineering degree 6+ months of relevant internship, co-op, or work experience Experience with a CAD system such as Solidworks, Siemen’s NX, PC Creo etc. Strong understanding of engineering first principles Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding atmosphere Excellent written and verbal communication skills GPA of 2.7 or above Preferred Experience: 12+ months of relevant internship, co-op, or work experience Extracurricular or project experience using prototyping/manufacturing tools GPA of 3.0 or above Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
