What you'll do
- Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.

- Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
- Escorting patients to exam room.
- Preparing exam rooms.
- Preparing patient for providers (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).
- Sterilizing and preparing instruments.
- At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.
- Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
- Follow up with lab work and/or x-rays.
- Administering injections.

Toledo Clinic's Family Practice Office, located in Holland Ohio, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant. This position requires an MA credential (RMA/CMA/CCMA) or the ability to obtain such credential within 60 days of employment. The hours are Monday-Thursday (8:00-5:00) and Friday (8:00-1:00).
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. If qualified, sign on bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT-A). For employees that have not yet obtained or renewed their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants may be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.
General Summary
