What you'll do

Perform triage, take manual vitals and blood pressure, conduct EKGs and phlebotomy, update patient information, prepare charts, and handle medication refills.
May occasionally travel between HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave.

What you need

Dependable team player is a must.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)

We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team! At HVC we invest in you and your career growth by conducting lunch n’ learns, reimbursing certification costs for any job required certifications as well as providing scrubs. Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, 401k, PTO, life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and holiday pay. Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends Duties may include but not limited to: Full triage Taking manual vitals/blood pressure EKG's Recording and updating patient information Chart prep Phlebotomy Medication refills Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave.
