The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be focused on the patient and their needs, and be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. We expect our Medical Assistants to build rapport with patients and partner closely with providers when patients require additional support or attention. 📍 This position is located at our South location in Overland Park. 📋 Position Overview The Medical Assistant – Spine & Sports Medicine is responsible for assisting providers and the nursing team in the delivery of professional medical care. Specific duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting providers with injections and procedures, utilizing the EMR system, scanning and uploading documents, telephone screening utilizing established protocols, insurance prior authorizations, and other duties as assigned based on clinic needs.
