What you'll do

Greet patients and escort them to treatment rooms in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner
Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit
Perform vitals: blood pressure, weight, temperature, and pulse and record in patient chart
Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality by safeguarding medical records and accurately completing diagnostic and procedural coding
Upkeep of inventory and cleanliness of the exam rooms

What you need

Previous medical assistant experience required
Strong computer skills and fluency in EMR systems
Friendly personality that can connect with clients and staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to relate with sensitivity to a culturally diverse clientele
Availability to work Sundays and some evenings, preferred

The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, has an upbeat personality, positive attitude, exceptional commitment to customer service, and is a good multi-tasker.
