Medical Laboratory Scientist/ Technologist

Vernon Memorial Healthcare is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist/technologist to join our Laboratory Services team. This position functions as a Generalist, demonstrating full competency across laboratory departments and performing a broad scope of testing procedures for patients of all ages. Position Responsibilities Perform and report a variety of laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources. Function independently as a Generalist across laboratory departments. Maintain accuracy, quality, and timeliness of test results. Assist with laboratory quality improvement projects. Participate in operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. Adhere to all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Education & Certifications Education: B achelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; or have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
