What you'll do
- Document the history of illness and physical examination as dictated
- Document procedures, results, progress notes, and treatment records as dictated
- Enter diagnosis codes and discharge instructions
- Enter patient's past medical, social, and family history into EMR system
- Access medical records on behalf of physician using EMR system
What you need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of recent scribe and adequate typing experience
- Excellent and strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Empathize and demonstrate concern for patient's problems and well-being
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize work assignments
- Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred)
- Cardiology/Vascular experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams (preferred); knowledge of eCW (preferred)

Healthcare Scribe (Bilingual)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. TLC Vascular of Houston is a physician led private practice Vascular/Cardiology group with offices near Med Center and Red Oak.
As the Medical Scribe, you are at the forefront of our patient care and the bridge between the office and billing department. The perfect candidate would possess the following:
A thorough understanding of Customer service
Scribe Experience
Duties:
Document the history of illness and physical examination performed by physician or mid-level as dictated
Document procedures, results, progress notes, and treatment records as dictated by physician or mid-level as dictated.
Enter diagnosis codes and discharge instructions
Enter patient's past medical, social, and family history into EMR system
Access medical records on behalf of physician using EMR system
Qualifications:
Excellent and strong communication skills both written and verbal
Empathize and demonstrate concern for patient's problems and well-being
Works well with others in a team environment
Possesses good problem-solving skills
Detailed oriented, with the ability to prioritize work assignments, able to work independently
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams a plus
Knowledge of eCW a plus
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
1+ year of recent scribe and adequate typing experience required
Cardiology/Vascular experience highly preferred
