Medical Technologist (2nd Shift) Chattanooga, TN

Blood Assurance is seeking a compassionate, dependable 2nd shift, full-time Medical Lab Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Chattanooga lab team. The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm, with a shift differential. The responsibilities for the Medical Lab Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist include preparation of blood and blood components, labeling of blood, shipment of blood, and various clerical tasks. The primary function: Blood Component Processing Donor Testing Reference Lab Qualified candidates: Must have current MLS Certification, MT or MLT ASCP Certification, and AS/BS Degree. Blood bank experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a positive, professional attitude.
