Interns join the technical staff on a focused research or engineering project. You might work on mathematical reasoning, model training, formal verification, or supporting infrastructure. We will define the project with you based on Axiom’s current work and where you can contribute most.
What you’ll do
Work with a mentor on a research or engineering project that matters to Axiom.
Take ownership of the full project lifecycle: planning, experimentation, and productionization.
Gain a broad view of Axiom’s work across the company, and learn how research, engineering, and formal verification come together in pursuit of mathematical discovery.
What we’re looking for
Evidence of technical ability through research, open-source work, independent projects, or coursework.
Depth in at least one of computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or formal methods.
The ability to write and debug substantial code.
Agency to drive a project and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
We do not require prior experience in every area. We assess candidates based on demonstrated technical work.
