What you'll do
- Answer patient telephone calls and obtain necessary information to process the call
- Work cooperatively with practice staff and providers on patient care and coordination
- Establish pre-visit planning protocols and determine insurance eligibility
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Notate timely, effective, and accurate information in the practice EMR system
- Communicate with patients about the after-care plan
- Treat patients, co-workers, and leadership with respect
What you need
- Answer patient telephone calls coming into the Primary Care Call Center and obtain necessary information from the patient to process the call.
- Have knowledge of each practice and provider's schedule and scheduling preferences.
- Interact with Practice staff and providers to communicate and work cooperatively regarding all aspects of patient care and coordination, including:Establishing pre-visit planning protocols and determining insurance eligibility.Scheduling and confirming appointments.Timely, effective, and accurate information notated in the practice EMR system.Communicating with patients about the after-care plan.

Required:
Knowledge of health care and or related products, medical terminology, insurance products, and coordination of benefits
Ability to communicate with others effectively in a concise manner.
Organizational and time management skills
Must work EST hours
Comfortable working remotely with the ability to commute to our corporate locations in either Nashville, TN, or Westwood, MA.
