Participate in the selection and procurement of new metrology equipment, evaluating technical specifications and suitability for laboratory applications.
Serve as a subject matter expert in the computerized maintenance management system (SAP enterprise resource planning tool), including day-to-day use, adding and removing assets from the system, work order lifecycle oversight, and troubleshooting.
Provide managers and related groups with visibility into upcoming and pending work, metrics, and workload/workforce assessments.
Education and Technical Skills Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Physics, Metrology, Engineering, or an appropriate technical discipline, or comparable advanced metrology/calibration training and certifications.
Strong knowledge of measurement principles, statistical analysis, and calibration techniques.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to learn new tasks and new systems.
Strong desire and commitment to providing excellent support to scientific and laboratory operations personnel and other internal team members.
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
