Milling Machinist - 1st or 2nd Shift

With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative products and exceptional service.Aggressive Hydraulics is seeking a skilled Milling Machinist with the experience and ability to independently complete full machine setups and machining operations from start to finish. This position requires someone who can confidently work from blueprints, select and set tooling, establish workholding, make necessary machine/program adjustments, and produce quality parts to print.We are open to hiring this position on either 1st or 2nd shift based on the candidate’s preference.2nd shift operations are Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am1st shift operations are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pmPosition Description:Manufacture custom products to print using CNC milling equipment and other machine tools. Independently perform complete machine setups and machining operations while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.Primary Objectives:Manufacture quality parts to print specifications and required tolerances in a timely manner.Independently set up and operate CNC milling equipment to support changing production requirements.Complete daily manufacturing work in accordance with the quality management system.Responsibilities:Responsible for manufacturing of partsPerform complete machine setups, including workholding, tooling, offsets, and required machine adjustments.Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.Inspection of partsTroubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and quality issues as they arise.Following safety proceduresCorrect documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc.)Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc. Qualifications:Previous CNC milling experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to independently complete machine setups from start to finish.Machine Tool Technology degree or related technical education preferred.Ability to setup and run various programs on machine toolsAbility to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectivelyStrong math and mechanical aptitude preferredComfortable using various computer softwareAbility to use and read measuring equipmentAbility to lift 50 pounds throughout the dayGood verbal and written communication skillsGWC – (Gets the role, Wants to do it, Capacity to do it)Aligns with our Core Values: Integrity, Aggressive, Team Pride, Expertise, Respect________Full time employees are eligible for the following benefits:Medical insurance through Medica + free in-home acute health care and on-job site health care through Nice for those enrolled on company's medical plan.100% employer paid Health Partners Dental insurance for single and family (if enrolled on medical plan).100% employer paid premiums for Long-Term Disability and $50,000 life insurance policy.401KCompetitive Paid Time Off*Compensation is dependent on a candidates skills and experience.* Below identifies an anticipated hiring range:
