What you'll do
- Lead the design of clinical processes, solutions, technology workflow and successful adoption
- Manage ongoing relationships with departments, providing system management and clinical subject matter expertise
- Assist in change management and help identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between clinical departments and IT
- Collaborate across teams to plan communication and documentation for system implementation and evaluation
- Evaluate clinical utilization and workflow, including patient safety and clinical outcomes
- Research, analyze and make recommendations for clinical application workflow improvements
What you need
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- At least 3 years of clinical experience (preferred)
- Previous Clinical informatics experience (preferred)
- Ability to track ticket requests
- Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment
- Builds relationships through purposeful rounding practices

Job Description:
The nurse informaticist (NI) functions as a knowledgeable practitioner, consultant, educator, and evaluator to maintain and improve system services. As a nurse informaticist, you are responsible for leading the department through the design of clinical processes, solutions, technology workflow and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value, by participating in efforts which meet departmental needs in adherence with the guidelines aligned with the organization strategy. The nurse informaticist will manage ongoing relationships with departments, providing system management and clinical subject matter expertise, focusing on department success in utilizing technology solutions. The nurse informaticist will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project targeted outcomes. As the nurse informaticist, you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between the clinical departments and IT, leveraging both clinical and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions. You will establish trusted relationships with department leaders. The nurse informaticist will collaborate across teams to plan and ensure appropriate communication and documentation is completed to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of systems and services, to support high-quality clinical workflows and application development. The nurse informaticist will evaluate clinical utilization and workflow, including patient safety and clinical outcomes; research, analyze and make recommendations for clinical application workflow improvements.Education:
• Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
Experience:
• Preferred: At least 3 years of clinical experience
• Preferred: Previous Clinical informatics experience
Skills:
• Ability to track ticket requests
• Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment
• Builds relationships through purposeful rounding practices
• Review change requests submitted. Escalating requests to the appropriate clinical and IT working groups for further review, discussion, and approval.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
