What you'll do

Clean, prepare, repair, and prime surfaces, including drywalling
Mix, match, and apply primer and paint to walls, ceilings, doors, and trim
Assist with preparation of cost estimates for capital investment projects and renovations
Communicate with the Administrator or designee to determine painting needs and requirements
Assemble scaffolding and safety equipment as required
May operate tools such as power washer and spray paint equipment
Maintain inventory of brushes, rollers, and tarps
Adhere to quality standards of health and safety regulations

What you need

Must pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting
Must be deemed eligible to work in a healthcare facility by the IL Dept of Public Health
Must be willing to have a flu shot, unless you have a valid medical or religious exemption letter
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Must have compassion for those with psychiatric conditions
Commercial painting experience (preferred)
Ability to speak and read English (preferred)
Previous work experience in a residential health care setting (preferred)

Monday - Friday - Start Immediately. The ideal candidate can work a Flexible Schedule including Occasional Weekends. If you take pride in your skills and strong work ethic, we want you on our team.
