We are seeking a dynamic, experienced candidate to join our law firm as an Immigration Paralegal. The successful candidate will be a part of a national immigration practice, which supports corporate client business groups. This position directly reports to the partners in the Immigration Practice Group. Job Responsibilities: Draft visa petitions and other documents for submission to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of State Interact with clients from diverse organizations, professions, and cultural backgrounds Investigate facts, collect and review source documents and materials Function as a liaison between clients and attorneys Manage client cases to ensure appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner Experience and Education Requirements: Prior paralegal experience or work involving writing assignments is preferred; writing samples will be requested of interviewed candidates Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to indicate ability to be successful in the position Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail and skill in proofreading complex documents Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively plan work assignments to meet client needs Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a focused work team Recruiting Information: Competitive compensation dependent upon education and relevance of prior work experience FLSA Classification: Salaried Non-exempt Salary Range: $57,000-$70,000 Excellent benefit package This description is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for performance in this position.
