What you'll do
- Respond to emergency calls, assess patient condition and make critical care decisions quickly
- Provide basic and advanced emergency medical treatment and life-saving procedures
- Provide basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons
- Operate ambulances and other company equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare inventories, stock supplies and inspect equipment for proper operation
- Safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients
- Complete any and all paperwork
- Follow proper protocol and maintain professional appearance at all times
What you need
- Must be Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certified/licensed in Indiana
- High school diploma or GED
- No criminal record
- Current and valid state Driver's License
- BLS CPR certification
- Must maintain valid, current State Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification
- ACLS Certification (preferred)
- BCLS Certification (preferred)

PARAMEDIC
SUMMARY: Our Paramedics provide advanced life support and basic life support emergency medical care, patient assessment and care, transport services, and other services.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Must be Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certified/licensed in Indiana
No criminal record
High school diploma or GED
ACLS Certification (preferred not required)
BCLS Certification (preferred not required)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Must maintain valid, current (State) Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification..
Must maintain BCLS and ACLS certifications (preferred not required)
Current and valid state Driver's License
BLS CPR certification
RSI competency (preferred not required)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment.
Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
Providing basic and advanced emergency medical treatment and life-saving procedures
Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment for proper operation.
Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations.
