As a Pediatric Dental Assistant at Ideal Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting both our patients and clinical team throughout the pediatric treatment process. What you'll do: - Create a welcoming environment for patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their pediatric journey. - Support patients through complex pediatric procedures, helping them feel informed, calm, and confident throughout their treatment experience. - Work alongside the Pediatric Dentist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient’s needs. - Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long-term oral health. - Coordinate care and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit. - Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care. - Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care. - Contribute to the success of the pediatric practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support. Responsibilities - Greeting guests with a smile. - Assisting Pediatric Dentist with procedures - Sterilizing instruments and setting up trays, preparing treatment rooms. - Assisting with conscious and iv sedation. - Performing X-rays. - Charting existing and recommended treatments. - Performing other duties as required to support the office and team.
