Position Summary Under assessment and supervision of the counseling/nursing staff and according to established policies and procedures, performs duties and tasks in a chemical dependency program, maintains clean and safe environment Responsibilities Collect, label, and enter specimens obtained Obtain vital signs and weights Performs breathalyzer test and urine drug screens Appropriate documentation in electronic medical record Enters work orders in computer Transport patients to meetings/activities Order supplies Assist with admission, discharges and transfers of patients Requirements Minimum requirement, high school diploma or GED. Read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions. Maintain CPR certification. Obtain/maintain electronic medical record documentation skills Work independently and professionally Valid Ohio driver's license and driving record LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards. ***Please note, nursing students who are hired into a patient support role and successfully complete their introductory period may apply for a promotion to Patient Care Assistant-Student Nurse.
