What you'll do
- Performs phlebotomy, EKG and specimen collection; monitors patient needs, reports observations and abnormal findings, and collaborates with the clinical team.
- Helps put patients at ease and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
What you need
- Requires a High School Diploma/GED, certification in EKG and Phlebotomy, and BLS Certification with the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
- Education: a high school diploma or a professional certificate
