What you'll do
- Provide individualized educational instruction
- Help patients maintain academic continuity during treatment or hospitalization
- Adapt curriculum, learning tools, and educational support to meet each patient’s needs
What you need
- Master’s degree in education, special education, or a related field required
- Texas Standard Teaching Certificate required
- Educational Diagnostician certification from the Texas Education Agency preferred, or Special Education Teaching Certification preferred
- Three years of instructional experience, including interpreting neuropsychological evaluations, required
- Three years of teaching experience in a hospital or specialized school setting preferred

You’ll adapt curriculum, learning tools, and educational support to meet each patient’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and academic needs.
