About the role Summer internships will range between the months of May and September depending on university schedules. Internship is full-time and on-site in Mountain View, CA. We’re seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented People Operations Intern. You’ll step into a position where you will learn People Operations fundamentals firsthand and support our day-to-day functions. This position reports to the People Operations Specialist. Interns can look forward to owning a project from start to finish, which could involve building out new people processes, optimizing our onboarding experience, or helping drive key employee feedback initiatives. Responsibilities Provide operational support for broader People Ops initiatives, including team culture efforts. Assist in coordinating a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including managing welcome communications and schedule coordination. Help create, update, and maintain internal wikis, FAQs, and self-serve resources so employees can easily find answers on their own. Build, schedule, and compile feedback surveys (e.g., in Lattice) to help measure and improve the early employee experience. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across administrative tasks and documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an empathetic, warm, and professional approach. High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with sound judgment. Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Workspace, Slack, or HR management software; quick to adapt to new tools and workflows. Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. Nice-to-have Skills Previous internship or co-op experience, or active leadership involvement in campus organizations. Previous experience or strong interest in high-growth technology or aerospace startups. A track record of taking initiative on projects, driven by your own curiosity. Naturally curious about AI tools and emerging technologies to work faster and more accurately. A genuine passion for supporting team members and expanding your People Operations skillset.
