Pharmacy Technician-Medication Reconciliation Technician

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, The Pharmacy Technician shall perform pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with MCH policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws, to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. This shall include assisting the Pharmacist in medication preparation, participation in department quality assurance programs, delivery of medication and charging. Medication Reconciliation Technician will create, verify, and update accurate lists of patient’s medications during transitions in care, such as hospital admission, transfer or discharge. Qualifications: Experience: Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred. License/Registration/Certification: Current California State Board of Pharmacy Technician license.
