What you'll do
- Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly
- Check pharmaceutical stock, place orders, verify receipts, and remove outdated drugs
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy and proper drug storage and security
- Read medication orders and prescriptions, prepare labels, and calculate quantities and days' supply
- Fill medications and assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies
- Record and file physicians’ orders and prescriptions
- Calculate, record, and issue charges
- Deliver medications to patients and departments
What you need
- Speak Spanish fluently
- Availability Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm
- Prior experience as a pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and a warm, compassionate approach to patient care (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with patients and coworkers (preferred)
- Ability to stay organized and work well in a fast-paced pharmacy (preferred)
- Honesty, dependability, and a strong work ethic (preferred)

Our pharmacy is hiring a full-time bilingual Spanish/English pharmacy technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills. Must speak Spanish fluently. Job Details: Preferred but not required: Prior experience as a pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician. Availability needed: Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm. Below are job descriptions for our pharmacy technicians: Job Duties: Speak Spanish & English fluently. Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly. Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level. Anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs. Maintained a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures. Read the medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days' supply. Fill medications, assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies. Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions. Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges. Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
