Phlebotomist (Part-Time) Location: In office - NYC Medical Center Who Is Parsley Health? The Opportunity: We’re seeking a detail-oriented, personable, and experienced Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our NYC clinic team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in phlebotomy and also brings operational know-how to support clinic workflows, inventory management, and patient experience initiatives. You will be instrumental in maintaining a high standard of care, safety, and efficiency in a modern, high-touch wellness environment. What You’ll Do: Phlebotomy & Clinical Support Perform venipunctures and specimen collection with high proficiency Label, process, and prepare samples for shipment to external labs Ensure proper patient identification and maintain accurate documentation Operational Support Monitor and restock medical and lab inventory Assist with ordering and tracking lab kits and supplies Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the lab and exam spaces Support daily clinic opening/closing procedures and patient flow Handle drop-off and support for all specimen shipments Patient Interaction & Communication Educate patients on the phlebotomy process and answer related questions Document interactions in the EMR system and communicate clearly with the care team Uphold a welcoming and professional patient experience What You’ll Need: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required 2+ years of experience in phlebotomy, preferably in a high-volume and/or wellness-oriented setting Experience with clinic operations or administrative support in a healthcare setting Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Cerbo, Acuity, etc..) Excellent communication and multitasking skills Comfortable working in a startup or fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment and ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Schedule & Location: Part-Time: 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 730am-1130am Location: Parsley Health NYC Center Occasional flexibility for coverage or extended hours as needed Benefits and Compensation: Hourly rate: $28-35 p/hr based on experience 401(k) + Employer Matching program Complimentary Parsley Health membership Discounts on Parsley health products and partners Paid time off and sick day plan Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
