About the company

Wispr Flow

Internet · 11 to 50 employees

Wispr is an AI research and product company building the voice interface for computing. AI can now reason, code, and act. Yet, humans still do the work of the interface. We think that’s backwards. https://wisprflow.ai/post/the-master-plan Our first products are Flow, which lets you speak naturally in any application, and Notetaker, which builds context across conversations. We’re building toward an interface that can perceive, understand, and take action with earned trust. That means solving hard problems across models, systems, and product - and caring about the final human experience as deeply as the technology underneath it. We’re a talent-dense team that holds strong opinions, tests them quickly, and builds technology that sparks joy. Our goal is to build the first voice interface used every day by a billion people.

We’re a talent-dense team that holds strong opinions, tests them quickly, and builds technology that sparks joy. Our goal is to build the first voice interface used every day by a billion people. ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll own the systems that help Wispr engineers build, test, and ship confidently as we scale. You’ll improve CI/CD, testing environments, and local development workflows, and make agentic coding tools more effective in everyday engineering. Your work will give teams faster, more trustworthy feedback and remove friction across our client and backend codebases. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Build and operate fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines, improving build times, failure diagnostics, and release workflows - Create isolated, reproducible environments for testing onboarding, dictation, Notetaker, and other core experiences - Make local setup, testing, and debugging straightforward, with consistent behavior across development and CI - Improve the environments, context, and tooling that help coding agents make changes and verify their work - Find recurring sources of engineering friction and measure improvements in feedback time, reliability, and manual effort YOU MAY BE A FIT IF - You’ve built and operated developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or internal platforms at a hyper-scaling company that other engineers relied on - You’ve made complex build, test, or development workflows faster and more dependable - You debug problems across application code, infrastructure, and development environments - You use agentic coding tools deeply and have clear ideas about how to improve their effectiveness - You work closely with engineers to understand their needs and build tools they choose to use - You take ownership from identifying a problem through shipping, adoption, and ongoing reliability Prior experience in voice, ML, or our exact toolchain is not required. GET TO KNOW US - Our operating principles https://wisprflow.ai/post/our-operating-principles - Our Series B https://wisprflow.ai/post/series-b - Advancing HCI https://wisprflow.ai/post/advancing-hci - Introducing Wispr Advanced Interfaces Lab https://wisprflow.ai/post/wispr-labs LOGISTICS We sponsor H1B, O1, EB1, L1, STEM OPT, and more. We can't guarantee sponsorship for every role, but if we make you an offer we'll make every reasonable effort, with help from our immigration law firm. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification. The strongest candidates we meet rarely do, so don't exclude yourself prematurely. We're rethinking how humans interact with AI, and doing that well demands diversity of perspective and experience. We're committed to a fair and accessible interview process. If you need any accommodations or adjustments, please let us know.
