We’re looking for a motivated, personable, and sales-driven Plumbing Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team! This position is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, enjoys building relationships with homeowners, and has the confidence to identify plumbing concerns, present solutions, and close sales. Strong plumbing knowledge, diagnostic capabilities, and previous sales experience are essential! You’ll focus on evaluating plumbing systems, educating homeowners, and helping customers make informed decisions about their plumbing needs. A Day in The Life: Conduct residential plumbing inspections and diagnostic evaluations to identify existing or potential plumbing concerns. Evaluate plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and related equipment to determine customer needs. Identify opportunities for plumbing repairs, replacements, upgrades, and additional services. Educate homeowners on findings, explain available solutions, and provide recommendations tailored to their needs. Present estimates, address customer questions and objections, and confidently close sales. Build strong relationships with homeowners through professionalism, honesty, and exceptional customer service. Coordinate with plumbing service and installation teams to ensure a smooth transition from the initial sale to completed work. Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, recommendations, estimates, and sales activity. Meet or exceed individual sales goals while maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Previous sales experience required , preferably within residential plumbing Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic procedures is required Ability to accurately identify plumbing concerns and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Proven sales ability, including presenting options, overcoming objections, and closing opportunities. Outgoing, personable, and confident communicating with homeowners. Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine customer-first mentality. Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in a commission-based environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Comfortable using technology, mobile applications, and customer management software. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
