What you'll do
- Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
- Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
- Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
- Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
- Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
What you need
- Requires a CDA credential or an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution.
- Requires 2 years (2500 hours) verified childcare experience and all NJ educational requirements.
- Education: an associate degree or a professional certificate

What is needed for this job:
