You assist the physician in evaluating the level of functioning in each patient by providing initial and ongoing assessments. After making decisions based on assessments, you help develop or revise the plan of care, prepare clinical and progress notes, and consult with the family and other agency personnel. rnYou provide all services in accordance with CMS documentation and billing requirements. The safety of your patients is of the utmost importance to you, and you take great care to practice infection control by following universal precautions. You also actively recognize and report any forms of abuse according to policy as well as federal and state laws. When needed, you assist with orientation for new hires and participate in any training activities.
