Under close, direct supervision of material management specialists, this position assists in performing administrative and fundamental procurement assignments, material shipment tracing, and expediting activities with vendors, if necessary. • Maintain material management logs and input material management commitment-related information into databases (such as approved material management reference system, SAP, etc.) • Organize and maintain files • Review technical packages received from Engineering; ensure correct documents are processed according to prescribed methods • May be required to update approved material management reference system for buyers • Issue weekly/monthly reports, as assigned • Maintain Cash Flow reports • Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, or global equivalent, and no required previous years of work-related experience • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements Preferred Qualifications • Previous Fluor Internship Preferred • Reasonably good interpersonal and communication skills • Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs We are an equal opportunity employer.
