Sporting Goods Manufacturing · 51 to 200 employees
At goodr, we’re recklessly committed to fun…blah, blah, blah, sunglasses. Guided by our four Fs, Fun, Fashionable, Functional, and ‘Ffordable, we create and sell Active Eyewear for Anyone. Whoever you are, however you move, whenever joy finds you, goodrs move with you.
Founded in 2015 as a running brand, we have since evolved into an active eyewear brand, designing classic, fashion, and performance sunglasses, winter goggles, prescription shades, cases, and the occasional absurd accessory when the moment calls for it. Our products are available on goodr.com, The goodr Cabana on Abbot Kinney in Los Angeles, and at leading national retailers including REI, Fleet Feet, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Public Lands, Scheels, and Target.
At our core, we exist to give you permission to be unabashedly yourself…unless you’re an asshole. We believe accessibility creates connection, and connection gives people the freedom to show up as they are. Featured in Runner’s World, Outside, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Bicycling, and GQ, our products prove you don’t have to choose between function and fun.
The intern will assist in the product development process by managing sample libraries, creating tech packs, and communicating with global manufacturers.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative product concepts to life while ensuring standards for quality and budget are met.

ABOUT GOODR
We create and sell active eyewear for anyone. No Slip. No Bounce. All Polarized. All Fun. Interested in joining our team? Keep reading.
OUR VALUES: We have two core values: Fun & Authenticity.
FUN = Being sh*tty isn’t fun. Agreed? Taking pride in your work, finding joy in being GREAT, and celebrating wins… and losses. Now, that’s fun!
AUTHENTICITY = Focusing on being authentic over being liked. (Next-level guru stuff. Count it.)
Fun Fact: We do not allow email to be sent internally. Carrier pigeons only. JK, we use Slack.
SUSTAINABILITY: We think Earth’s pretty rad. That’s why we take action wherever possible to limit our impact on the planet.
1% FOR THE PLANET MEMBER: 1% of goodr’s annual sales go directly to environmental organizations.
CARBON NEUTRAL: In 2019, goodr became a 100% carbon neutral company.
Fun Fact: goodr celebrates every Earth Day by releasing limited-edition sunglasses with frames made from 100% recycled materials—and the packaging is 100% sustainable, too!
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ever wonder how a pair of sunglasses gets made… or how a wild idea like pink furry frames becomes actual reality? Maybe you’re curious how in the world a company lets a flamingo named Carl run the place. Well, look no further! goodr is calling all flaminglets — yes, that’s a baby flamingo — for our 2027 Spring Internship Program!
At goodr, we show up unabashedly ourselves, own our sh**t, and get things done. And we want our interns to do the same. Join us for a 9-week adventure from January 19th, 2027 – March 19th, 2027. Did someone say bragging rights? OH YES WE DID. This full-time, paid internship gives you real-world experience, flamingo-level fun, and skills you can take into any future career.
The Product Development team is looking for a self-motivated, organized, and creative product enthusiast to help bring goodr's wild product dreams to life. You'll dive headfirst into hands-on product development, keep our sample wall and Cove libraries in tip-top shape, and communicate directly with global manufacturers to keep the fun rolling. If you have an eye for detail, love solving weird and wonderful product challenges, and can navigate tech packs like a pro while bringing serious flamingo-level enthusiasm, this is the role for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gain hands-on experience in Product Development while learning how a fast-paced sports eyewear company operates day-to-day
Help turn creative, ridiculous, and sometimes completely out-there ideas into reality.
Manage our material and sample libraries and sunglasses sample wall in the office (aka the Cove) to keep everything organized and easy to find.

Collaborate with teams like Design, Quality, and Customer Service to bring ideas to life and ensure our products meet our standards.
Communicate with manufacturers to support the product development process and keep projects moving forward.
Support the team in bringing the Design team's vision to life. Whether it's putting grass on frames, blocking blue light, or developing scratch-and-sniff lenses, you’ll help explore what's possible.
Help coordinate incoming development samples, golden sample approvals, content shoot samples, sales samples, and materials for our sample library.
Help ensure every pair of sunnies delivers on goodr's 4 F's: Fun, Functional, Fashionable, and 'Ffordable.
