What you'll do
- Start Date: Spring 2027
- Location: Cookeville, TN
- Length of Role: 8 month minimum, 9-12 months, highly preferred.
- Education: BS or MS in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering
What you need
- <strong>Problem-Solving & Decision Making:</strong> Methodical and data-based approach to problem-solving, product problem-solving, product failure mode avoidance, and high-quality decision-making.
- <strong>Standards & Compliance:</strong> Ability to follow and contribute to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and Technical Function Standards / Practices.
- <strong>Systems & Integration Engineering:</strong> System requirements engineering, product interface management and integration, analytical modeling, and test integration/optimization.
- <strong>Product Verification & Validation:</strong> Hands-on product verification and validation processes.
- <strong>Core Competencies & Leadership:</strong> Drives results, collaborates and communicates effectively, and demonstrates continuous self-development.
- Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred.
- Must be able to complete a 8 month minimum, 9-12 months, <i><strong>highly preferred.</strong></i>
- Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
- Willingness to learn from others on the job.
