Production Technician

Shift: various start times-various end times Hourly Rate: $22.17 an hour + $2nd shift .45 - 3rd shift $1.00 shift differential Reporting to a Production Team Leader, you will operate and support production equipment at our Fort Madison, Iowa manufacturing facility. You will join a team of approximately 400 associates and help ensure the safe, efficient production of quality products. This is a 2nd shift position located at 2467 Henry Ladyn Dr., Fort Madison, IA. Starting pay is $22.17 per hour, with a .45 per hour 2nd shift differential. NOTE: Associates may progress to $25.44 per hour upon successful completion of Level 1 requirements and $28.18 per hour upon successful completion of Level 2 requirements. A Taste of Your Responsibilities: Operate production equipment and perform routine equipment inspections. Troubleshoot equipment issues and support continuous production operations. Perform product quality checks to ensure products meet established standards. Support process improvements that increase production efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain equipment sanitation and a clean work environment while supporting food safety and OSHA requirements. Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals. Ingredients Required for Your Success: High school diploma or GED preferred Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Machine operator experience preferred Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production requirements. Physical Requirements: Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements may vary but can include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials. Also be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
