Program Advisors/Direct Support Professional – Full Time –Harrisburg

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking to hire a full-time entry-level Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. You assist with activities of daily living such as household maintenance, transportation, administration of medications, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and more. While supporting people with disabilities, you build strong relationships while learning their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, likes, and dislikes. QUALIFICATIONS At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours Are you punctual and reliable?
