Starting Pay: $21.00/ hour DOE
About the Position
The Source Property Management is seeking a friendly, motivated, organized, and dependable Property Management Office Assistant to join our team.
This is a full-time, in-office position that plays an important role in supporting our daily operations and providing excellent service to our tenants, property owners, vendors, applicants, and team members.
The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, comfortable communicating with a variety of people, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy office environment.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to further develop property management experience and provides opportunities for advancement into other roles within the company.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a welcoming and professional point of contact for the office
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Monitor and respond to general email inquiries
Assist tenants, property owners, vendors, applicants, and prospective tenants with questions and requests
Assist with processing rental applications and communicating with applicants
Schedule property showings and assist with coordinating leasing activities
Provide administrative support to Management, Staff, and other team members
Assist with maintaining accurate records, documentation, and property/tenant/owner information
Coordinate with vendors, tenants and property managers as needed
Help with general office duties and administrative tasks
Assist with other property management-related duties and special projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must:
Have a least 1 year previous property management experience
Have a minimum of 1 year of experience using Google Workspace (Google Suite), including programs such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs
Be available to work in the office five days per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Be professional, dependable, organized, and customer-service oriented
Be comfortable answering phones and communicating professionally with tenants, owners, vendors, applicants, and coworkers
Be able to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Be comfortable learning and working within property management software and other technology platforms
Be able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, when needed
Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Have access to a reliable vehicle for occasional work-related errands or property management tasks
Be able to pass a State and National Background Check
Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous AppFolio experience.
