Knowledge / Skills / Ability:rnCapacity to learn new software programs including YARDI Property Management softwarernMicrosoft Word ExcelrnMicrosoft Internet Explorer or Google ChromernAbility to multi-taskrnStrong interpersonal and team skillsrnTroubleshooting and analytical skillsrnThe ability to work independentlyrnExcellent written and verbal business communicationrnKnowledge of Real Estate Databases, transaction processes, including review of contractsrnKnowledge of accounting principles and proceduresrnExperience with Accounting for Multifamily HousingrnPreferred Education and Experience:rnBachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experiencernYARDI Property Management software rnYARDI PayScanrnKnowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 Policies and Best Practices.rnResponsibilities:rnMaintain the integrity of the company's Yardi database system, including:System is in balancernWorkflows are properly maintainedrnEmployees and menus are properly assignedrnGeneral database user securityrnrnAdminister user security profiles and manage databases (production, test, test 2, etc.) for Yardi.rnWorking with the Database Director, the Operations Director and our Insurance coordinator to improve systemsrnWork with Business Systems Analyst(s) and other 3rd Party Management SPOCs to maintain systems settings, processes, vendor approvals, and documentationrnParticipate in testing for Yardi systems upgrades, with a focus on database changes and third party application informationrnHelping perform quarterly user audit for review by auditors and MIS/ Accounting senior managementrnProvide ongoing support and training to all users of the system and all SPOC's at 3rd Party Managers utilizing the database rnFrom time to time, leading monthly calls and other training calls. rnHelp provide a link between various groups (including Regional Managers and Asset Managers) and IT for Yardi related report writing.rnUse experience and judgment to know when a task needs to be performed within the Yardi user group, and when the analyst should request external technical assistancernHelp develop in-house training programs to further the Yardi proficiency for Peak Living on-site users, regionals, and accounting staffrnPeak Living LLC offers a competitive compensation package including health, vision, dental and life insurance and discounted rent program.
