Perform routine maintenance involving electrical work, plumbing, painting, and carpentry. Inspect, maintain, and repair storm drains, sewers, and manholes. Assist with metal fabrication, welding, trailer repairs, and replacement of concrete footings and pavers. Operate power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and grinders. Operate or learn to use utility carts, tractors, forklifts, and other maintenance equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Inspect, maintain, and repair shop equipment and tools. Follow established safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with the Property Services Manager and other team members to complete maintenance projects. Assist with additional property maintenance duties when needed. What We're Looking For Valid Florida Driver's License required. Previous experience in general maintenance, repairs, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, or equipment maintenance. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations when necessary. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain.
