What you'll do
- Maintenance Oversight:Ensure the facility is well-maintained, including overseeing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure the facility meets all health and safety standards and regulations.
- Budget Management:Ensuring cost-effective solutions and consulting with Program Director for larger scale solutions request.
- Vendor Coordination:Liaise with contractors and vendors for services such as cleaning, repairs, and security.
- Facility Planning:Plan for future facility needs and improvements.
- Emergency Preparedness:Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
What you need
- Morning:Conduct a walkthrough of the facility to identify any immediate maintenance needs.
- Day:Oversee ongoing maintenance and repair projects, coordinate with vendors, and manage staff.
- Evening:Review the day’s activities, ensure all tasks are completed, and plan for the next day.
- Education: a bachelor's degree

Responsibilities:
Maintenance Oversight:
Ensure the facility is well-maintained, including overseeing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure the facility meets all health and safety standards and regulations.

Ensuring cost-effective solutions and consulting with Program Director for larger scale solutions request.

Facility Planning:
Plan for future facility needs and improvements.

Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Several years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.
Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of building systems and regulatory requirements.
Typical Work Day:
Morning:

Meetings:
Staff Meetings:
Discuss daily maintenance tasks and any issues that need addressing.
Vendor Meetings:
Coordinate with external service providers for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Safety Meetings:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Planning Meetings:
Discuss future facility needs and improvements.
Compensation: $22hr @ 24 hours per week
