ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Product & Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their QA career who has hands-on experience testing digital applications and enjoys understanding how systems and business processes work. The ideal candidate goes beyond simply following a test script. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, thinks outside the box, asks thoughtful questions, and approaches testing from the perspective of the end user. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and business users to understand workflows, translate requirements into test scenarios, identify issues, and help ensure we deliver reliable, intuitive, high-quality applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform hands-on functional testing of web-based and digital applications across new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Review product requirements and user stories to understand intended functionality, business rules, and expected outcomes. Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, developers, and business users to clarify requirements and identify potential gaps or edge cases. Work directly with users and subject matter experts to understand current workflows, business processes, and real-world use cases. Translate business workflows and user stories into comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria. Identify positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case testing scenarios rather than testing only the expected "happy path." Create and maintain appropriate test data needed to validate functionality across different scenarios, user types, and workflows. Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Validate application behavior across different user roles, permissions, workflows, and data conditions. Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution. Write clear bug reports that include reproducible steps, expected versus actual results, supporting screenshots or documentation, severity/impact, and relevant test data. Work closely with Engineering to reproduce issues, answer questions, validate fixes, and perform regression testing. Communicate testing progress, defects, risks, and blockers clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including helping business users understand what to test and capturing and triaging their feedback. Help continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, documentation, and overall product quality.
