What you'll do
- Walk extensively throughout assigned outdoor areas, platforms, walkways, and surrounding spaces to inspect custodial work.
- Identify graffiti, litter, debris, spills, and areas requiring additional cleaning.
- Verify that assigned areas meet established cleanliness standards.
- Notify the appropriate personnel of deficiencies and follow up to ensure they are addressed.
- Document and report recurring issues or areas needing improvement.
- Take initiative and go above and beyond to keep outdoor areas clean, presentable, and well maintained.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to navigate outdoor platforms, walkways, and surrounding areas.
- Ability to bend, reach, and crouch to inspect areas requiring attention.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
- Ability to perform occasional physical tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and recognize problems others may overlook.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
