Recruiting Specialist (Candidate Screening & Onboarding)

Recruiting Specialist Location: Columbus, OH (In Office) Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 annually About JSET JSET Automated Technologies supports industrial construction, controls, automation, electrical, and data center projects across the United States. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our team and support hiring efforts across a variety of field, technical, and office-based positions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, learning new technology, and helping move candidates through the hiring process from application to onboarding. What You'll Do Review resumes and identify qualified candidates Conduct phone interviews and candidate screening calls Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process Process interview recordings and transcripts Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting documentation Track candidate movement through the hiring pipeline Assist with offers, pre-employment activities, and onboarding Maintain recruiting reports, schedules, and recruiting trackers Help ensure open positions move efficiently from application to hire What We're Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Comfortable speaking with candidates throughout the day Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong follow-through and accountability Confidence learning new systems and technology Ability to accurately document conversations and interview notes Positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback and coaching Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, administration, coordination, scheduling, or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word Ability to work full-time in our Columbus office Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting phone interviews or candidate screenings Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments Experience coordinating interviews or onboarding activities Experience supporting construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, industrial, or technical hiring Bilingual English/Spanish Compensation & Growth JSET is hiring for either a Level I or Level II Recruiting Specialist position. Placement within the range will be based on experience, demonstrated capabilities, and overall qualifications.
