What you'll do
- Work one-on-one with children to help build communication, social, and daily living skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA).
What you need
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children
- Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
- Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality
- Must pass a background check
- Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings
