Registered Nurse | Emergency Trauma Center

Summary Rice Memorial hospital has an incredible opportunity for a skilled acute care nurse to join their 12-bed Emergency Trauma Center! In this position you would help identify and implement nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population. A nurse at this level may be required to assume leadership responsibility. Schedule 64 hours per two weeks Mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts. Rotating shifts - Days, Evenings & Nights Includes every third weekend (12-hour shifts) and rotating holidays Pay and Benefits Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $43.24 per hour Bachelors in nursing starting at $43.61 per hour Masters in nursing starting at $45.79 per hour Full pay range: $43.24 - $65.47 per hour $3,500 Hiring bonus! $5,000 Relocation bonus (if applicable)! Working knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, public, and other providers. A knowledge of growth and development; specifically, an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process. An understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
