What you'll do
- Provide professional nursing for patients following established standards and practices
- Assist physicians and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access
- Coordinate patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals
- May serve as preceptor for clinical staff
- May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice
What you need
- Minimum 2 years experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. Additional specialty experience may be required as per facility practices(i.e. Pediatric, GI, etc)Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.Active RN license as required by state of employment. Required valid BCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable. ACLS and PALS required within 6 months
