What you'll do

Evaluate patients on the day of the procedure
Perform nursing assessments and start IVs
Prep charts and oversee recovery
Triage calls with patients about past or upcoming procedures
Help position patients on the procedure table
Draw up medications with providers and scrub into procedures
Monitor patients throughout procedures and administer IV sedation as necessary
Ensure the procedure room runs smoothly and efficiently for providers

What you need

ACLS required within 3 months of employment if not previously obtained
Works well with others and enjoys a small teamwork atmosphere

Puget Sound Pain Clinic is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgical Team. Located in Tukwila, WA, we specialize in the treatment of chronic acute back, neck, and joint pain, sciatica, cancer pain, and other painful conditions. We are dedicated to helping our patients take control of their lives again by controlling their pain. This position as a registered nurse includes pre-operative responsibilities such as: evaluating the patient on the day of the procedure performing a nursing assessment on the patient starting IVs prepping charts overseeing recovery triaging calls with patients regarding questions about past procedures or upcoming ones Our registered nurses also perform circulating responsibilities: Helping with positioning the patient on the procedure table drawing up medications with providers scrubbing into procedures monitoring patients throughout the procedures administering IV sedation as necessary ensuring the procedure room runs smoothly and efficiently for the providers. ACLS will be required within 3 months of employment if not previously obtained. We are looking for a registered nurse who works well with others and enjoys a small teamwork atmosphere.
