What you'll do
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the health care team philosophy practice model.
- Coordinates patient teaching, discharge planning, and activities with ancillary departments, and maintains department and hospital standards.
What you need
- Education - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Experience - Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred but not required.Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Active RN Mississippi Licensure.Special Skills - Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric, limitations and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime.
